Venerable Dokun Adewunmi

Venerable Dr. Dokun Adewunmi – MB.BS, M.Sc. DIH, FWACP, Dip. Th. D. A graduate of University of Ibadan in Medicine, who after completing graduate studies in Occupational Medicine in London, worked for the Federal Ministry of Health and later for the Unilever conglomerate as an Occupational Physician. He rose to become the Deputy Medical Director of UAC of Nigeria PLC.

Dr. Adewunmi was called into the ordained ministry in 1986 after training at the Lagos Diocese Seminary, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion). When he immigrated, with his family, to the United States in 1997, he served as a Missioner in Diocese of Eastern Michigan (The Episcopal Church) from 2000 – 2004. He received a Doctor of Ministry degree from Seabury Western Seminary, Evanston, IL in 2003. Following the crises in the Anglican Communion, he left the Episcopal Church. He and his amiable wife, Modupe, were called to provide leadership for a church plant in Maryland that grew to be All Saints Anglican Church today
